Dune: AWAKENING is a multi - survival simulator, the action of which takes place on the planet Arrakis in the alternative temporary line of the Dune universe. Players begin their way in the role of prisoners who have to reveal the secret of the disappearance of the indigenous population of the desert, exploring the extensive and dynamically changing open world. Survival on Arrakis requires the players of thorough management of resources, such as water obtained from disticombs or defeated enemies, and the construction of shelters to protect against severe weather conditions and giant sandworms.
The game process includes a study using technology characteristic of the Universe, such as ornithopterers and power belts, a flexible combat system with a variety of weapons and abilities, as well as the development of the skills of great schools in the empire. Players can create and customize their characters, objects and buildings, from temporary shelters to fortified bases, the drawings of which can be traded with other participants. The social aspect is represented by the possibility of unification in the guild, the oath of allegiance to one of the great houses, participation in the political life of Landsraad and the struggle for control over resources, in particular, over the emissions of the spice.
The project offers both PVE and the optional PVP content, allowing players to interact on official or leased personal servers, which, however, share general social centers and key multiplayer zones.
